Great time with the family watching the cattle run. I believe the times are 11am and 4pm if you want to catch the cattle runs with these beautiful group of steer coming through the stockyard. Great food and entertainment all around you. You can even walk through were the horses and cattle are houses to get a closer look. But don't get too close. Lol All in all a great place for the family to visit even if you are from out of town. Review from Jason Tarver 14th January 2018
Zero Stars for the horseback riding establishment: Bucked by a horse not even 10 minutes into the ride. Needless to say, my party of 3 ended our ride at this juncture to go to the ER. I was not offered a refund. When I requested one they would only refund the person thrown from the horse rather than refund us for the experience as a whole. I was not offered a helmet and am lucky I landed on the grass. Worker commented the horse would be spanked and ridden hard. I requested there be no will ill towards the animal. The horse seemed unhappy, tired, and hungry. The owner was present and did not come over to speak to me or even ask if I was OK; a very poor response to an unfortunate experience. Awesome place to just sight see. We were just driving around didn't stop or go in anywhere. Seen the Lonesome Dove restaurant, which is iconic, but caught on fire a few months back. Don't know if it is open back up. Review from Paula Criss 23rd January 2018
I love it this place is amazing to take the family perfect to just go out and have some dinner enjoy the street or th e little alleys that they have it has a lot of events for people and the community there is just so much from fairs to rodeos to dancing and food Review from Raymie Santy 30th November 2017
Definitely a must-see. The cattle drive is awesome but has downsized a lot. The gun show is cool but I also noticed it isn't near what it used to be. The parking used to be free but I noticed each day it literally gets more and more costly. Review from Chandra Villasenor 22nd October 2017
